The Sudanese Air Scout and Girl Guides Group has been actively
involved in many community development programs and social services
projects across the Sudan. Below are few examples of their
activities:
Victims of war
The Scout and Girl Guides troops collected and distributed tones of
clothes to victims of war in Southern Sudan. Donations were
collected from individuals and charitable organizations inside the
Sudan and abroad.
AIDS control project
This project was co-sponsored by the National Committee for AIDS
control- the Federal Ministry of Health and the World Health
Organization (WHO).

Program
Airplane models workshop Egypt 1990
Air scout leaders, El Taieb Abde ljalil, Mohamed Alahmadi, Francis
Vero, Faiza Naserldin, Ghada Farouk, Mohamed Jabir, and Khalid Sanad
have actively participated in the aeronautics training course in
Cairo. The course involved practical training on computers,
designing airplane models and exchanging expertise with their
Egyptian colleagues.

In April 2000, Dr. Atif Abdelmajeed, the International Commissioner
of the Sudanese Scout Association, Air scout leader, lead a group of
scout leaders in a disaster relief convoy to Mozambique.
